Happy New Year from ASCC

2010 graphic

Welcome to the second issue of our eMagazine and Happy New Year to all our readers! We have another great newsletter for you again and hope we get as many visits to it as we got for our first issue, over 2000!!!

In this issue we hear from Sue Griffiths about Stockport Council's new personalised social care website - 'My Care My Choice', Paul Ainsworth tells us about Cambridgeshire's Family Information Service, and we learn about SCIE's (Social Care Institute for Excellence) social care TV. Staffordshire and Kirklees also feature for their award winning communications best practice. And there's much, much more, so enjoy!

How good is Synergy?

In the last issue we asked you 'How good is Synergy?' We are very pleased to tell you that 89% of people who took part in our online poll thought Synergy was either 'Excellent' (68%) or 'Good' (19%). Another 10% thought it was 'Average' and 3% (that's one person) thought it was 'Rubbish'! Pretty good overall, we think. But we feel we can improve with your help, so please keep sending in your articles, suggestions and ideas to make Synergy even better. Thank you!

Are you coming to the 2010 ASCC conference?

It would be good if you could let us know if you're coming to our 2010 annual conference by completing our online poll. It'll only take you a second and will help us with our planning and marketing. Thank you.

Best wishes for 2010

Tell us about your goals for 2010 and what you think are the main communication challenges for the year ahead? Let us know so we can support you in your efforts and cheer you in your achievements. We hope 2010 brings with it success and fufillment for you all - best wishes for 2010.
